Surah 99

Az-Zalzalah

8 ayatmedinanUmm Muhammad

Verse 1

إِذَا زُلۡزِلَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ زِلۡزَالَهَا

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake

Verse 2

وَأَخۡرَجَتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ أَثۡقَالَهَا

And the earth discharges its burdens

Verse 3

وَقَالَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا

And man says, "What is [wrong] with it

Verse 4

يَوۡمَئِذࣲ تُحَدِّثُ أَخۡبَارَهَا

That Day, it will report its news

Verse 5

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوۡحَىٰ لَهَا

Because your Lord has commanded it

Verse 6

يَوۡمَئِذࣲ يَصۡدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشۡتَاتࣰ ا لِّيُرَوۡاْ أَعۡمَٰلَهُمۡ

That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds

Verse 7

فَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيۡرࣰ ا يَرَهُۥ

So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it

Verse 8

وَمَن يَعۡمَلۡ مِثۡقَالَ ذَرَّةࣲ شَرࣰّ ا يَرَهُۥ

And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it
